Data Systems Spoiler Instructions (Japanese)
I just got my Data Systems spoiler, and the instructions are in Japanese. Anybody that has one of these know if there is anything unusual about painting or installation I need to tell the body shop?
I'd assume basically you paint it, then attach it with the two sided tape. Can't be that hard
I can scan and post it later if anybody wants knows Japanese and wants to translate for me.

well..if they wing doesnt come with holes on the bottom then im assuming that it could be held with just tape
2003z has this wing also..ask him
avoiding drilling is always good but its hard to get it to stay on with tape
any good body shop will know what to do

Thanks. I'm not in the least concerned about the tape. The door panels cladding of my GTP are held on by two sided tape, and have remained attached for about 6 years so far

I had my data systems spoiler installed about 6 months ago and I'm using double-sided tape and also super silicone that the body shop suggested as well. It was probably overkill but I had no desire to ever see this wing come off accidently. When questioned, Data Systems said the tape should be enough.
Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks guys. I'll post pictures as soon as it is painted and installed
I think I may get my gas cap cover painted, too, to see if I can get it to match better. Surely the shop won't charge much to paint that if they've already got the paint mixed.

here's some, and you can do a search for aggie's posts with pics of his.
www.toyamagroup.com is where he bought his and referred me to. I paid $400 shipped from them.

wouldn't the double sided tape will get lose if you put the car under the sun for too long?
Also does anyone have a picture of their car fitted with full veilside V.1 bodykit (except the Rear Spoiler) and with Data Stream rear spoiler?
Because i have been looking for a good rear spoiler that don't need to drill a hole to fit it.
Thanks

I honestly think the double-sided tape would hold even during hot conditions, but like I said, I wanted to leave no doubt so I had the installers use supper silicone as well. But you do not need to use any type of bolt install for this spoiler.

I would give www.toyamagroup.com a call since they are actually based on in Japan but also have an office state side. They should be able to help you out. Check your PM.

BTW, I got it from Toyama as well. $395 shipped. They sold the last spoiler they had in stock right before I ordered, and even getting it from Japan took only a little over two weeks to get it from Japan.

I bought the last one Toyama had in stock and it has been painted by ZPresence (on 350zFrenzy site). I'm going to his shop next month for the spoiler install, front bumper repaint and painted engine finisher install. Can't wait!
