!! Headlight Bulb Replacement !!
I own a 2003 350z Touring and really feel like this car is engineered to be a pain in the ***... I want to replace those ugly halogen turn signal and parking light bulbs in my headlights with amber LED's. I've looked all over the internet, and every video shows that you need to remove the bumper to do this... There has got to be an easier way to get to the connectors. I found the connector for the parking light bulb by going through the wheel weld, however, how the hell do you get to the turn signal??? Also, I have OEM Bi-Xenon headlights from a 2006+ if that makes any difference. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Put on your big boy pants and remove the bumper, takes about 30 min the first time and 15 min after. Hell you've wasted more than that dicking around trying to avoid doing it the right way.
You'll laugh at how easy it is to do once the bumper is off and you pull the light forward. Seriously, unless you have lady hands, you'll save time but pulling the bumper.
If I was just replacing those 2 bulbs, I might just turn the wheel for clearance, peel back the fender linder, and reach my arm in there. I've had my bumper off several times, too, but think this is about the same amount of time/work either way.
Be very careful buying LED's for the parking lights, as they can't be physically larger (either in length or diameter) than the original bulbs, or they won't fit through the hole or clear the headlamp lens.

You can fit some pretty large LEDs in the signals, but again, check the measurements first, and you'll need load resistors for the signals.

Yup. Lady hands...
I don't mind taking the bumper off at all. Have done it before. Just trying to see if there's an easier alternative out there. Especially since it's getting cold as **** up in New York and with all this rain too.
