Are all seats the same from 03-08 350z?
I looked around and couldn't find quite my answer, if I skipped it I apologize. but my question is does the seat in all the years of the 350z fit one another? I have a tear in the seat of my 08 350z and I got a friend who got a new set of seats and he was planning to resell his old one's to me. We both have leather seats but his is 04. Do you guys know whether these seats fit? Thanks!

Leather wheels of course. The latest in de riguer JDM fashion. Careful that you got the right cow hoof offset.
But to answer the question (if it's seats), yes, they all fit '03-08.

Seats are not the same, hell not even all 04 seats are the same, some leather, some with airbags etc. are they interchangeable? I'm quite sure they are. There is only one seat mount bracket for aftermarket seats that would suggest all the mounting holes are in the same spots, also would be a kinda weird thing to change mid production.

Hmm lets say if my friend and I both have leather heated seats, then it would be fine I am assuming? But if its cloth it wouldn't? Really don't wanna waste 200 dollars if it wont fit aha. He isnt really a close friend, know what im saying? More like some cragislist guy xD

I swapped 08 350Z Nismo seats into my 05 Roadster with no problems. The only issue for me is to include the white soft top controller that is under one of the seats. I even removed the heating elements from my leather seats and installed them in the Nismo seats and plugged them right into my car.

They might have made it standard later in production but I don't think the early cars came standard with the airbags in the seats, I know in 03 you had to get the touring to get leather and or heat which is why my local dealer was adding leather to a lot of the cars they were selling, they could add the leather to a base or performance model and still sell it for less than a touring model.

Almost 2 years later and I'm glad i got new seats.
I got seats from a 2008 and my car is an 03 touring. They bolt on fine but the air bag and seat heater connectors are different. I know I can cut off the plugs for the heaters but what about the air bag connectors? Theyre not different colors so how would I know which is which?

For any one that finds this thread in the future, you need to swap the air bags from 08 to 03 or vice versa if you dont want the srs light.
Seats bolt right in no problem but the air bag connectors are different. I hate seeing lights on in the dash so I unzipped the back of the seats, gained access to air bag module, removed four 10mm bolts and swapped them over to new seat. It wasnt hard just tiresome. Took roughly 2.5 hours to swap all 4 air bags. Well worth it to not have the light.
