Default Finally starting on exterior mods. Few questions...

Instead of starting multiple threads, I'll ask them all right here...

1) Urethane bumpers (Aerosync, Ings replica, V2 replica)

Over time, will these bumpers sag? The only aftermarket bumpers I've seen in person are the V2. And a few of them were drooping like lunch lady arms. Is this common?

2) I saw a white 350z with Ings bumper and what looked like Vertex sides. But it was a front 3/4 angle and couldn't really tell if they were vertex. Does anyone know have more pics of this combo?

3) Is there a Shine quality replica of the Ings+ sides? All the threads I found were from 7 or 8 years ago. Tons on eBay, but want the best fitting replica I can find.

Your response(s) are appreciated.

1) I can only speak to the fitment and durability of the Aerosync front bumper cover, but it has held up well b/c it fits. Any bumper cover will sag over time if it's not properly attached to the fenders and underbody shroud. Some aftermarket kits have such poor fittment that installers leave out some of the 10 mm bolts and other attachment points. That's a mistake.
2) Can't help on pics.
3) No idea, but remember that replica body parts are made off an imperfect mold. You pay for that discount with the quality of the part itself, IMO.

I had an Aerosync on my last Z for at least 60k without issues. As dkmura pointed out, stay away from replicas, you'll spend the difference in body work to get them to fit right.

Shine replicas are pretty good, mine came out decent. The original pieces don't always fit perfectly either, if you want perfect go Nismo or really expensive jdm kits.

Thanks for the insight so far. Back in '07 had a Works 9 replica kit on my '91 s13 that I spent about a week's worth of nights trying to get it to fit. Engine swap, turbo kit, and full interior on that car (did all the work myself).

Back in '98 had a urethane GReddy front lip and frp Aeroware sides on my '93 MR2 (4th documented boosted non-turbo car in the US; designed, fabricated, and installed the turbo kit myself...car ran flawlessly for 25,000 miles). Lip fit perfectly. Sides didn't quite line up.

Now I have an ebay Nismo lip, oem G35 mudflaps, and ebay roof wing in my garage. I keep reading these threads where people show off their bumpers and kits. Been researching and I'm ready to pull the trigger on aero parts.

I'm no stranger to getting my hands dirty. Just don't want to spend weeks massaging aero parts so they "kinda" fit.

Rolling on 19x10 and 19x11s with aggressive offset and virtually no gap. Car needs a clean, yet aggressive kit.

Thinking Amuse front and sides, TS rear diffuser, and Blitz wing. Nothing groundbreaking. But like I said, the only Zs I see are rocking the Nismo kit.

I appreciate the replies.

I happen to have the Shine amuse replica sides and rear, if you want some pics of the fitment let me know and I'll try to get some. Overall they fit decent, but both the reps and the original amuse sides are a bit too short for car, so there is that to deal with.

If you can post them here, that would be great. I've read that on the Shine Amuse sides, an extra screw needs to be installed on the top of the skirt, near the rear of the door. I guess their material is super flexible, and without that screw, the skirt can pull away from the body at that point.

I'll post some up tomorrow, it's not flexible but there's no clips so it needs to be screwed on top.
