Been meaning to comment here about Mistuh Sparco and all you other wrappers.
I am in awe at the talent and patience that produce such great looking cars. (Sparco's Z is still one of my favs on here.... how come we never see it, sir?)
Me, OTOH, can't even put a clear plastic screen protector on my iPhone without bubbles.... sigh.....
Sanks Mic, I haven't been actively playing with my cars as much. I literally dumped all my "fun money" into several different investments. I want something more upmarket to play with. I used to own a 997 many moons back, but my wife thought it was a waste of money and I agreed. Maybe its time for another Deutsch auto.
I have trouble with the screen protector on my phone as well. I find dry wrapping a car much easier.
Haven't posted here in forever. Still out here wrapping random things. It's not a Z, but here is my new project 2008 Ducati 1098. Used Avery Satin black.... Much better cop deterrent than the bright a** yellow. LOL. Still waiting on the decals. But yeah it was a huge pain but came out nicely.
That bike came out great! I like the satin look on bikes.
Im going to be redoing my whole car this winter. Its hard to capture in pictures but the rear is heavily turning brown and the gloss white seems to be very susceptible to stains
Yeah I'm in the same boat as you! My satin pearl seems to get stained too. But 99% comes out with simple green, and since its satin you really can't see any rub marks. I'm still thinking of going with a dark color like gloss gun metal.
Mine has some terrible staining. The whole wrap pretty much looks like it has black water stains ALL over it. And the rear bumper is completely browning and has a lot of unburnt fuel all over it.
I already have my next color in mind, I will be sticking with gloss but Im going darker
Oh mine isn't like that... Maybe it's because oh the gloss. Craig what brand did you go with? I've been sticking with Avery Dennison and I have no complaints so far.
Thanks Highway!!!! Finally got the decals in over the weekend. Looks much better now. I'm thinking gold wheels but still undecided.
Bike looks great.. Def gold wheels and a some more decals on the bottom lowest fairing. Either a big Ducati or smaller ones running slanted vertically to finish off the pattern of the bike. Draws the eye completely down.
