Default Momo steering wheel help!!!

Hello everyone,

I just got done installing my momo steering wheel, at first the horn work but now it doesnt and the airbag light keeps flashing even though I used the two resistor that came with the nrg short hub. Any clue on how to fix these two problems? I already try resetting it with the key method but it doesn't work. Parts used are listed below

2008 nissan 350z grand Touring

Momo steering wheel
Nrg short hub with two resistors
Nrg quick release version 2.8

You probably just need to re-perform the airbag reset procedure. Can be tricky to get right.

Did you use the grounding ring provided to get ground to the horn button? Your ground probably just came loose or you blew a fuse. Tell us how you wired the horn.

Try switching resistors that was my issue and it worked for me. Also you may have missed plugged. There small holes aand then tiny holes. The resistors plug into the top tiny holes.

I try three times already but I'll keep on trying.

I plugged in the connector that came with the nrg short hub onto the clock spring where the grey plug is. The only wire that came out of that grey plug is a black wire which I then connect that onto the nrg quick release unit. I then connect the other wire onto that back steel plate that came with the hub in between the hub and quick release unit. From the horn to the quick release was pretty much straight forward.

I didn't even notice that...I'll try again tomorrow morning. Thanks for the advice

I don't think I blew the fuse because when I click the lock button on my remote the horn still sound of

Remove the wheel and test your wiring my manually grounding out the horn. If it works that way, then its a problem with your wiring or the horn button itself.

Does anyone know the torque spec to the nut that goes on after the hub? For some reason, turning feels alot stiffer than when I had the stock steering on.

If snug means 22-28 ft/lbs, then yes snug lol. Op download the fsm.

If the wheel is smaller diameter than stock then you will perceive increased steering effort, has nothing to do with the torque on the nut.

Just installed a new 50 amp fuse for the horn and still no honk. Took every thing apart and wired it back, still no sound. I'm out of ideas.
