Default Aftermarket replacement for fenders

So my car was recently hit while parked in a parking garage. Upon arriving back to my Z i found the front left fender/front bumper were damaged.

I'm trying to go over my options in regards to the fender.
I was wondering if I bought an aftermarket replacement fender (OEM style) would fitment be a problem? They're cheap. I'm finding them to be about $160.
I know buying body kits and what not are always a problem with fitment, but I've never really heard whether or not OE style replacements also have that same issue.

Good luck. I hate it when that happens.

Yeah worst feeling in the world to be walking to your car to find something wrong.
I was thinking about also checking out junk yards and possibly finding a Z in silverstone with undamaged fenders. As long as the paint matches I can see that option being ALOT cheaper.

I suspect that in order to get a decent result you'd have to replace both.

I already have claimed it to my insurance company. Only problem is I feel that the assessment they gave me might be short of the actual cost. And if not, I'd like to see if there is some option to cut part of the cost of the $500 deductible.

Okay so i take it that an aftermarket fender should have proper fitment without any additional body work? That is as long as it is the same style as the OE fender.

Aftermarket fenders are going to be a smaller gauge steal if you are looking in the sub $100 replacements. The stampings on mine were pretty decent and the fit was actually pretty good. Problem is, they are really delicate.

This, Im curious as well. Fixing mine as well and was wondering the same thing. Hopefully people arent going out and hitting their front fenders on random objects
