One thing I cannot understand on this forum.... "a build by consensus" and the insecurity that it's showing when one ASKS for an opinion that inevitably leads to people disagreeing with YOUR taste. And there WILL ALWAYS BE those that don't like it. You're just asking for a diss.

Door handles, that's just disgusting.

Wheels look narrow , wrong offset and the tires look very small.

Front plate, either install your state plate if required or remove the bracket.

Easily car turn into a great looking car that everyone will approve of if that is your goal

The Z's door handles are iconic. I'm not a fan of messing with them. You have a direction with your car, let's see where it goes.

 

Tint is not always needed

 

What font lip is that? It looks good, only thing I cant stand is the handles. Buy, hey. It is your car. Do what makes you happy.

The badges and door handles do not look good painted black nor am I a fan of the blacked out side markers.

OP, new wheels and a drop will clean up the ride nicely. Look for a set of 18s/19s with an offset in the lower 20s and it'll have a better stance.

 

I agree. Tint isn't important if you're trying to go for some aesthetic upgrades. I think tint should be one of the last things.

Door handles should go back to stock or painted all the way. One or the other.

I think if the OP got new wheels and tires that sit better with the Z, the entire car will look much better. But that's just my 2 cents. Not being a negative person, just trying to be constructive.

 

Yes, the tires on the wheels right now are junk bridgestones, im going to get wheel spacers and mich ss which have a much thicker wall. Im trying to make these 17s work but i dont know. Door handles was just a attempt at something different i also agree it looks bad. It will be put back to normal.

 

17's are not going to work unless you're using them at the track. Then you're going to need better tires anyway.

I suggest looking at 18" wheels as a start if you want to get a good idea of how some Z's look with them on.

 

Who knows? But for a while when I first joined this site back in it's heyday if you hadn't spent $3000-5000 on wheels you'd get flame-broiled as soon as you asked a damn question. FWIW, my crap-tastic AXIS shines are still going strong after 8 years. :thumbup
