Bought my 08 350 with a wing on it with the intention of taking it off and just putting plugs in the holes. Im just curious as to when i take off the adhesive, is it going to mess my paint up? I've seen a couple other posts but none that necessarily deal with this problem, thoughts?

 

Depends on the adhesive and the spoiler. If it's just 3m tape you'll be fine. I've seen some weird glues too that probably won't come off nicely.

 

the paint underneath will have 7 years of junk and wont be as faded as the rest of the car.
