Default Functional airfoil/wing on the cheap?

Was looking at getting APR's GTC Carbon fiber wing but i ran across cusco's aluminum wing and was wondering if anybody had pics of the airfoil on a Z and if they had any downforce numbers on them or pics of one on a z? The only downforce numbers I found were on an s14 forum in a JDM magazine testing Cusco's wing claiming 130lbs of downforce.

Cusco gt wing (330$)

Also, is this cusco airfoil a 2d? Also comes with adjustable AoA and you can place the brackets at different spots on the wing. Opinions? Think its worth it for less than half of an APR? And no im not a fan of having a wing period.. this is solely for performance/ stability at speed.

are the wings adjustable? if so, the number will vary depending on the angle of the wing. its hard to say since the only way youll get a solid answer and number is if you buy the wing, install it, and rent a wind tunnel to test it out.

Far to narrow, and not tall enough. 2d on a Z needs to be at roof height, 3D can be a little bit lower.

Height will depend on the actual design, width will also depend on the design. APR is a compromise, same with all other wings. Unless you do the wind tunnel work for your chassis, you will only get close enough.

APR kit is 61 or 67 inch wings for the 350Z at a predetermined height they feel like will work for the car. All the companies do the same when they offer a car specific wing

The problem with the off the shelf 3d wings is that they were modeled after narrower coupes. When I ran them through CFD software the raised 3d portion on the GT300 fit the profile shape of an FD3s RX7 far better than a Z33. It is however still an effective wing as offered, but would be outperformed by a single profile wing that is mounted at roof hieght such as a COT wing.

On a side note, the picture in that andys autosport wing description is not a GT wing...

What is the size needed width wise for a coupe? 61 inch??? I might go with a gt style wing. I really don't like any other wings offered or made for 350z. What gt wing is low mount? This is for a non track car just for cosmetic.

if you want a non functional good looking wing, go for the ARP GTC 200 Drag wing. look it up, looks great.
