if you have an 08, you have hid. older models also have hid. which explains why you have an older model headlights on your 08

Xenon was available on the "old" model too. Easily tell the difference - halogen lights are instant full brightness, xenon takes a few seconds to achieve full bright.

If you don't know what you're doing, find a shop or a friend who does...

2003-2005 Base models came from the factory with halogen lights. It is difficult to say which type of headlight the original poster has in his car.

He says he has an 08 with older model headlights. Older model has both hid and halogen headlights

If you buy Depo xenon headlights, they include the ballast, and bulbs. (Amazon)
