Default Looking for a good roll cage

I'm looking for just a simple like 4 or 5 point roll cage with an x brace. I've been searching but not finding too much. Can anyone make some suggestions for me? Thanks

I would be hesitant to buy a bolt in roll cage. They usually use normal steel and are like 2 1/2 to 3 inch diameter. You would be better off getting one made for your car. Use chrome moly steel, you can use half the size diameter pipe with the same strength. I had a guy that was a off road fab guy, make mine for my camaro. With the bolt in ones it will be bulky and not really form fitting. The one I had made was welded in to the frame of the car and is really close to the roof and body. It will cost maybe a little more then a bolt in one, depending if someone gives you a deal on labor cost.

It really depends on what you need a rollcage for. If it's for serious track use, spend some money and have an experienced shop build a custom one. It'll fit you better, be more functional and offer a whole new dimension of safety. Be prepared to have the shop build some seat mounts at the same time and get the seat ergonomically correct.

I agree with everything posted. The problem with bolt in cages are just that. The bolt. I would rather go for a welded cage. And fab shop can do wonders for cheapish, understand that time IS money and that you should bring the car to them stripped.

I posted the most current information, my guess is that you can contact Moti and ask.

If you are going to spend money on a roll cage might as well have it functional.

Why would it be dangerous to have a high quality cage installed properly but just not track it?

My car is about one inch off the ground and is a show car, I simply like the looks of it. Maybe one day I'll turn my car into a track car at which point it will be very functional

Yeah, I understand that you want it for looks but just spend a little more and get it done right. I bet it wouldn't cost too much more if any more than a bolt in one. Just throwing my 2 cents, then you can tell people it is made wit chome moly and that it's welded in. Sounds cooler and will look a lot better than a bolt in one. And no I don't own stock in Chrome moly steel. Lol just know it's the best route to go.
