Default 370Z nismo recaro seats in a 350Z

Hi I'm new to this forum and I've tried to search but couldn't find anything on what I'm about to ask. I have an 03 350Z and was wondering if the 16 370Z nismo recaro seats would fit in the 350Z with the factory brackets that came on the 370Z recaro seats. Or would I have to swap the old seat rails onto the new seats? Thank you all in advance for any insight.

The seat should fit dimensionwise but the brackets aren't the same the brackets are part of the seat base and can't be removed. If you want those recaros might as well get the sportster cs, the bottom cushion will be better as well.

No, the brackets and sliders are built in to the seat. I have sportsters myself that I want to put in and have been researching this for a bit. Why do you want those seats in particular? They are very expensive and not worth it IMO

My buddy crashed his 370Z and is parting it out. The airbags deployed but other than that it's almost new lol

I thought so, they aren't worth the hassle IMO unless he's hooking you up, I'm sure it will involve lots of cutting and welding.

Wasn't too bad had to modify the rails a little but it worked and fits pretty nicely. Only thing now is to see if I can get a replacement part to replace the airbag cover on the seats

Nice, glad it worked out. Did you put the drivers seat on the right, or your car is RHD?

Thanks! My car is LHD I swapped the airbag covers to the other side hoping it would be less noticeable LOL. The center console helps the deployed airbag cover stay closed. Would you or anyone here know where I can get those back covers?

Hey guys, sorry to revive an old thread but I was able to source some 370z nismo seats as well. After thread searching I have the information of the install of the seats, but does anyone by chance know if there is a sure way to wire the SRS airbag to mate with the 350? I found a thread on the 350z-UK site where a guy just spliced the wires together and hoped for the best and ended up working but doesn't 100% trust it will work for others:

I know there is a resistor that you can make or buy to bypass the airbag light but I would like to be able to use the airbags if it all possible. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
