Default New Seat Help (05 350)

Wanna grab some new seats but i’m a tall and wide guy, 6’4 245. Been looking at the corbeau forza wide but i’m not sure how that will fit in my Z. i could get custom brackets made to sit lower but i’m just woried about the sides fitting. if anyone knows of some good seats for 38-40 throw them down. price range is around 400 with brackets/mounts

For $400 including brackets and mounts there's not many custom seats out there. I'd stick with a OEM Z33 seat, used but in good shape.

I would have to agree. A $400 seat with bracket and mounts would probably get you some cheap Ebay "race style" seat that will definitely not meet your expectations.

The OMP RSPT2/HTE-R are great examples of about exactly what fits in our car and just touches the door card (with a planted bracket). The HTE-R will fit you, but it may be slightly tight. The HTE-R XL will fit you no problem, so if you could find a comparable sized seat that reclines, no halos, or whatever other requirements, you should be fine.

You definitely should make custom brackets, most off the shelf will sit too high.

Look into the OMP Tuning seats, I think they all fit.

OMP is a quality race seat, but it's nowhere near to being $400 as the OP specified. With custom seat mounts, cost will be closer to $800-900 (or more). Also, race seats are very confining and I doubt this is a quality the OP is looking for...

Definitely, was more for sizing reference. The OMP touring seats are around the 400 price range though iirc, and I think would be a good fit for him.

Depends really on what you are looking for
if it is 400 PER seat then theres very few,

but for 300 exactly theres the sparco R100..

Not that the OP cares, since he's left the discussion, but his original question was: "if anyone knows of some good seats for 38(0)-40(0) throw them down. price range is around 400 with brackets/mounts". Ignoring the spelling and other errors, he wants a lower race seat for $400 including mounts that would fit the Z.

My original response stands: that's too small a budget and his best possibility is modifying a used OEM Z33 seat.
