I recently purchased a steering wheel from a 2006+ with radio buttons and cruise control.
My 2003 HAS cruise control, but not the radio buttons. Does the car come pre installed with the harness for radio?
Also, there should be no issues installing the wheel right? Even if I cant get the buttons to work, I want the matte silver Z on the wheel, not chrome.

 

Don't know about the wiring harness but if you want the different Z logo you need to swap airbags not steering wheels.

 

The '03 headunit has no wiring harness or control for the volume or radio controls on the '06 steering wheel.

 

Yup, thought so. I dont have a stock head unit though.

Sorry, i come from the honda world and almost everything is plug and play lol.

There's 5 wires coming out of it, so I'll see if I can connect them to those universal kits.

You probably need an 06 spiral cable too. I saw a thread about this in the audio section at one time

 

Is That the white box in which the harness plugs into?

i got the wheel on today and the cruise control works perfect but the lights don't illuminate lol. I wonder if that white box is to blame.
