Default Shift **** extension

I recently got a new shift **** and it sits lower than the oem shift **** height (1-1.5 inches lower). I have been looking at extensions and the shortest I could find is 3". Is there any website or brand where I can find a 1"-2" extension for the 350z thread size?

Buy a new shift **** that’s longer.

Also you sure? The OEM **** isn’t that long. 1-1.5” is a lot.

I had a dragon ball on mine from a friend that’s half the length of the OEM one. That’s maybe 1/2”

It's more the neck on the oem **** that gives it the length to me. And the adapter that I came with my new **** made it a bit shorter. I like the shift **** and it's probably something I can get used to but just seeing if there was a way that I could add a little height.

While I find this an odd request, apparently you're not alone...

I like the one I have which is lower than the stock one, but my seats are lower than stock. Just reach down and grab that sucka' or like mentioned above, buy another style or stay stock.

I think my problem will be solved once I do get new seats that sit lower. It's not something I'm too worried about but just seeing of there was a way I can raise it a little

Not a problem to ask something I find odd cuz I find lots of things people do to their cars odd. 🤡

And while I may find stuff weird, I value tweaking a car to suit the driver 100%. My philosophy on driving: “If it doesn’t work for you, fix it so it does.”

One might not think much of it but then why did our driving school instructors spend nearly an hour coaching us on “proper fit, seat adjustments, hand/feet positioning, and attitude (laff)”?

Hi, we are a vendor on this forum and we have a pretty wide selection of custom shifters, including the ones with extended length. Various adaptors are available too. Check them on the following page: https://www.carid.com/shift-*****.html

I had a low shift **** on my Z. Bought the 3" extension off ebay for under $10 and it was awful.
I got used to the shorter throw and it's much better for quick shifting
