I say that everyone needs to state what emblems they want (Front or Rear) so we can forcast how many of each should be created. Are the front and rear even different sizes? I'm at work, so I'm not able to go outside and measure. . .

I feel that this is the one we should go with. What does everyone think. Just have the finish done the same as the the 350Z logo on the trunk so everything matches.

What does everyone think?

I'd be down for two as long as the price is not completely ridiculous.

I'm curious as to why they feel the need to make 500 though. Say they make 100 and sell each for 100. Their net would be 10k. So 1500 for the mold or whatever, the materials on 100 emblems cant be more than another 1500. That would give them a nice profit after labor or other costs. Plus 100 emblems are a hell of a lot easier to sell than 500, especially when some people would want 2.

I think the important question is how much this company would be charging for each of these 500 emblems?

Exactly JCR. I'm curious what their charge would be for certain quantities. I'm going to need two of them. One for the front and one for the rear.

Considering the upfront cost of this and the apparent minimum of 500, it looks like the only way to swing this is to do one of the following:

1) get a couple hundred of us members to commit to the 500 units

2) get somebody to buy the minimum production run and then sell them to us.

#1 seems kinda' hard to pull off. #2 sounds more feasible.

Who can we find to do #2? How about somebody already selling a lot of Nissan stuff, like Jason/Jeff as Performance? Didn't Jeff respond earlier in the thread about wanting a bunch of these?

I agree with DaveZ, easiest way would be for a retailer to get involved. Even if we found 200+ members to buy emblems, who gets the "honor" of having to collect 3k+ and distriubute them, if we are gonna have somone do that much work there needs to be profit involved for them.

I wouldn't mind putting out 100.00 total if possible.

I hope it's not too long until a prototype comes out. Can we get any info?

Same here. I even love how the ring is darker than the Z in the middle, becuase it helps accent the Z, and with the Z being the color of our door handles and the 350z logo on the hatch, it's perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have posted several times about this - it is not an emblem that is sold, it simply has painted half moons on top and bottom...not available for sale, but I am sure could easily be done by an individual
