We are going to have it custom created with material if we can get a large enough order together. It's going to have a 3D look to it and flow much better with the car than the polished Nissan logo we have now, along with what's on every OTHER NISSAN :-)

We already realized it isn't something that can be sold, it was custom done. . . so we are going to work together and have a company custom make a bulk for us.

By the way. . . Srobert910, are you going to get in touch with emblemart.com to put together some final prices on everything for Jason@Performance Nissan to decide if he can help us out?

I emailed him today about a price estimate for the full sculptured emblems. I also asked him to work on designing the less expensive, less sculptured emblem he was speaking of. I just want to know what the other option would be. I also asked him about what finish he could produce and if he could duplicate the color/texture of the door handles or the "350Z" emblem on the cars. Hopefully we'll hear an answer soon. I'll post the reply as soon as i get it. I am just concerned that we won't be able to get a full order for 500, but i'm sure we'll know better once an estimated price is released.

I don't think we'll have a problem getting the full order if Performance Nissan is willing to help. If they know they can buy them from the guy and mark up the prices to profit, I really don't thenk they will turn that down :-)

Hey guys, If I may make a strong recommendation. Please take the time and really think about this. Ask yourself this question? How many Z emblems do I need on the car? There is already one on both sides of the car and then the new version on the front and then the larger size emblem for the rear because the original rear emblem is smaller and then you have the 350Z to the left. I feel it would look gaudy in my opinion. I saw a Z with no emblem on the rear, my first impression was impressive because it looked cool and sophisticated. Just picture this scenario...your sitting in your car or driving around the people in the car behind you look up and say "WOW" what kind of car is that? Nearly half of them won't even recognized the 350Z to the left and even if they did they will still say "wow, what kind of car is that"? the point is this, without the rear emblem the car carries a certain stigma and mystic about it! That's what I like! Now, I said my peace. I understand everyone has their own preference if you want 2 put on 2. Period. End of discussion. Thanks!

Just read whole thread. Will be cool to see how this turns out. Just ordered my Courtesy Zs unfortunately after waiting a while.

Noticed a few comments about making it same as the door handle finish. I agree its a nice finish. Are you sure its metal though? I know that sounds like a dumb question, but I have looked long and hard and I'm still in two minds as to whether the handle is plastic or metal.

So what? If the finish can be achieved in plastic, then maybe this emblem can be created at lower cost? Might be worth trying to track down some plastic moulding specialists to see what's possible.

I never looked at it in SluggoZ's perspective. I'm strongly thinking twice about 2 emblems now becuase I am buying the Stillen Replica wing, and with that - It would probably be fun to remove all the emblems on the rear just to keep that mysterious look! I don't want my car gaudy at all.

HOWEVER, I would love to have this emblem I posted a little while ago that was on the orange car, on the front of my Z

If you like the mysterious look, how about this...?

I like the way that looks, but doesn't it look off centered? Maybe the rear washer is off centered or it's an optical illusion. Anyways, I think that when I replace my nissan emblem, I'll pull the 350Z emblem off... achieving the same final result, but with a custom emblem instead of just a Z.

I see what you mean. Hadn't noticed that. I think its an illusion, because the Z covers the original locating holes (unless Nissan put those off centre )

That looks like something is almost missing :-)

I'm going to just go with no emblems on the rear, becuase I already have the brushed Alumnium Z license plate frame, and my license plate says "Lucks Z" so that's enough I think :-)

I am going to pay whoever is going to do this project though to get the front emblem just like the one on the orange Z that was orginally posted.

Will you have to fill the holes under the original badge or do I recall that you were getting a different wing anyway (which I guess covers these?)

I'm getting a Stillen Replica wing which will cover that whole area anyway. I'm so anxious for the front emblem though !!!

Can someone post instructions on emblem removal, what to use and how to do it? Were scratches involved and etc.? From an owner who actually removed the emblems off the car himself. I would appreciate it very much!

No special tools involved. Just fish line to remove the emblem, and your finger to roll of the sticky tape. No, seriously...thats how I did mine.

Thanks a lot. I might use the dental floss! here's my other question...when you took off the emblem badge their was no holes? Correct!!!! I did see a car back in November with the emblem off and I did not notice any holes. I do know that there are holes in the front of the car. I did some checking and found out that the replacement Nissan emblem has no "prong guides" like the front. But I saw a earlier post that showed a picture of 2 holes in the rear??? With the replacement emblem having no prongs then it must only be taped on? Can you please clarify this for me. Thanks!

Front emblem has no holes behind it.

Rear emblem has 2 holes behind it.

Cheers

I believe the UK version is different from the USA. Why would the replacement part have no "guide prongs" on the back??
