people who test cars out for a living have been known to break those little sticks for a shifter....lol...like on the lambos they have broken many shifters....i would recommend something a bit bigger....but that would be sweet.....

anythings possible, probably be a flat peice and youd need a new stick as I dont think its very pretty under the leather boot.

It actually would be fairly easy to make, I bet you could rig something to snap in the bottom of that ring on our Z's. Only problem is you would gain some tranny noise (that leather blocks some and so does the stuffing inside out boot)

I suggested shift gate year ago.... nobody seems to be interested to produce it. Design seems to be very simple... Here is picture I photoshopped

I totally agree! I think that would look way better than the boot.

Default we are working on it but

we did shelve it for awhile. Have to remember the pivot point for the shifter sits too high and so too close to the level that the gate would sit at. We are modifying an auto shift console finisher that we hope will do the trick by adding some height. You need the elevation to be able to have the shifter make a move through a pattern. A skinnyass shifter will not be an adequate solution.

Default Hey pinnacleliquid

Any news on aluminum-look finishes? I'm dying to get my door switchplates and possibly the center console redone in something that looks like a stock G35...but I am not a big fan on the stick on kits...sadly on my budget they're about all I can afford. haha
