I designed this delete because my hydro master cylinder reservoir has displaced my cubby and I was not satisfied with the other options on Thingiverse. All I need is the blank face but I think people may be interested in a 1 or 3 gauge pod, not sure, let me know what you think.
It's funtional if you need that space blocked permanently. 2 suggestions -
Reverse the orientation of the screws to insert from behind, the material is there to do it. That also allows the front to be completely smooth.
2) Once the whole thing is painted / wrapped I think it's a winner!
The purple is just the filament i had loaded in the printer, I will update the thread after I paint it.

If I orient the bolts to enter from the other direction then it is truly permanent. those bolts and captive nuts allow you to remove the face while still having the 2 mount brackets secured to the trim piece. I will demonstrate.

Spot on, function>form, I was thinking absolutely permanent.
I have my 3 gauge panel on thingiverse, but it does also include the hazard switch and the power outlet (since I was deleting pretty much everything else for a track build). I did include the freecad file so it is possible to go in there and modify the design to suit your needs.

I think the simplest way is to look at the design in freecad and measure in there. I appologize if it's not really easy to parse in freecad, when I built it I was just starting in this software. I have since moved on to Fusion 360, and I find it does a much better job of separating individual elements and keeping track of changes.
I printed one to test and it came out pretty good. I am going to tilt them up a little higher. I also would like them to be facing more towards the driver side but there is not enough room to turn a 3 gauge pod that far on this size of a surface so I m going to leave the azimuth alone.
I made a quick video showing the ease of putting this face on.
Rotated the 3 gauge pods 11 degrees up to be more in the drivers line of sight. My original measurement was 9 degrees but I'm a medium sized man so I took it an additional 2 degrees up and it feels more natural. I'm calling this one good unless someone has a problem or a request. Files updated. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4247633

The link doesn't work, can you please share it? I've been looking like crazy for this cubby cap for gauges.
