Default auto crack windows

I understand the power windows are supposed to "auto crack" when opening or closing the doors. I just replaced the drivers window motor and just got the cor, so I have never witnessed this happening, It does not happen now. Where do I start?

There is a button on the window motor. Proper name is window indexing. Might lead to better search results

Some of the newer motors do not have a learn button. If that's your case search YT for Nissan window relearn. Takes less than 30 seconds and you don't have to remove anything. Gl

The only "tricky" part is just make sure you don't press the window switch down too far or hold it up too much for the auto feature to engage. Other than that, pretty straightforward. Good luck!

Oh - one other thing, since the Z needs to be in "ON" as opposed to ACC, you can set the limit switch with the door open, but just make sure that the door actuator rubber stopper thing is depressed in the door jamb so that it tricks it into thinking that the door is closed. If you try it with the door open and the plunger is not depressed, it won't work.
