Would like to see more nicely done cages other than RoyalT and Rickdogg or whoever...

It's a Kirk , will be for sale this winter. Moving up to a custom 6 point.

First off hope you don't mind me stealing your pic.

In the picture above, if it had the 8 point bars that go to the driver/passenger footwell. Can the bar that goes to the side of the seats curve along the sub enclosre/cubby compartment back to the top?

Something like what I doodled below

What would be the structural pros/cons to this? reason I'm asking cause I'm 6'4 and adding a cage would make it uncomfortable to even drive. As it is now I seating position for even me is perfect.

The cusco rollbar is for looks only. It's not SCCA approved. I'm sure the cusco might help a little bit (better than nothing)

Nope, but you can start the bar further back. My 6 point will start about 2 inches back from the Kirk bar, mounted to the floor of the glove box/ speaker enclosure. BTW I'm 6'1 and can't drive the car with the seats all the way back with the Kirk bar installed. It has more room than stock, due to the seat design.

Roger, but why? Why is it in the cage pictured above, the points in the trunk go to the floor rather than the strut bar like the Nismo? Is it rules that allow cages to vary slightly?

Cause from searching the straight bar is to help in roll over situation!
