Having an issue where adjusting the aim on the left headlight brings this entire uneven view up or down, whereas adjusting the aim on the right headlight seemingly does nothing.
I believe what you are experiencing is the stepped cut-off. On LHD vehicles with HID projectors where we drive on the right side of the road, the beam pattern is lower on left in order to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. Similarly, on RHD vehicles that drive on the left side of the road, the stepped cut-off is reversed for the same reason.
This is what it should look like shining against a flat wall:
If you want to get rid of the step, you would need to disassemble your headlights, remove the cutoff shield housed in the projector and grind it down level or have a flat cut-off and reassemble everything.
(Don't do this.)
If turning the adjustment **** on the headlights does not move them at all, then there is something wrong with the adjustment **** and maybe the gears are stripped or something else is going on.
