I’m close to pulling the trigger and buying a used pair of Nismo Juke RS seats. Question do I need any special mounting brackets to bolt these into my 2006 350z.
As someone who wanted them it is, used sets in terrible condition are usually $3k unless you get lucky. That's why I went for my Sportsters instead the should bolt up with the Recaro mounts from Japan which are about $700.
Caveat is it makes the seats super high so I will actually be removing my mounts and redoing with different ones and no sliders as I want to back to stock height or lower

where did you order the seat frames from? I contacted Capital Seating in the UK but I’m awaiting a response. Do all the electrical components hook up easily.
I’m also considering Recaro seats from a 2012 R35. The seat bottoms look OEM so it may be an easier, less expensive install.
I ordered from Bulletproof Automotive. I don't have air bags so aftermarket seats are a straight swap, I can't imagine to OEMs being too much different though. What I don't know is if the seats with the mild lower cushions use the Recaro architecture or same as OEM. The OEM one would be harder to swap.

what do you think will be easier and less costly to install? The Nismo Juke RS seats or the CTR R35 seats.
Do you have any pics of the R35 bottom? Looking from the top I'd say the Juke seats would be easier cause you can simply add mounts for the car. Do you mind them sitting taller than OEM?
Can anyone confirm that the juke nismo rs recaros have the same bolt pattern as the sportster cs's or other regular recaros? I found some brackets out of the US that should be able to work with out having anything fabricated. They confirmed the brackets would work with sportster cs seats! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also are there any other technical snags I may run into when doing this swap? How do you go about doing the air bags? Thanks in advance!
If you are talking about the Planted mounts save your money. Not even remotely close without modification, and the passenger side seat will sit quite a bit higher than the driver side one.
I had them initially so I speak from first hand experience.

so I’m leaning more to the Nismo Juke RS seats. I’ve priced out the Recaro Sportster CS Seat frame product Id: 7304142 from Capital Seating in the UK. Is there anything else I need? Is the wiring straight forward?
How do like the Juke seats? Are they worth the money and effort or am I better off picking up some Brides?
I don't have them as I couldn't justify the price of the new ones and the used ones in good condition here got for $3-5k which is the price for new Sportsters.
I'll post a pic of mine in a sec. I'll say this, the seats the seats and the steering wheel are my favorite mods but depending on how tall you are you might not want them with the Recaro bases. I'm 6' and my knees hit the key and I can't sit upright cause I feel squished in. I will be buying Zakustech mounts here within a few months so if you are willing to wait I can give you much more info, hell I can even give you a deal on the Recaro bases if you decide to go that route. The seats themselves are pretty comfy, but aggressive, I sat in a Sportster once and I was sold.
I'm a size 34-36 waist and about 210lbs for reference.
They should, but I may not use sliders depending on fitment. They are a copy of the planted but allow the seats to sit at the same height, that's a good start then I'll have to figure it out from there. So I can let you know once I get them.
I'm going to assume the Juke seat is identical to the factory Sportster until proven otherwise cause the base is the same on the side and top.
Thanks, the seats look at home in the Z which it probably why the went with them in the 2015+ Nismos. They are my favorite seat outside of the one made for the GTR folks that cost like $10k a seat
I bought them from Next Level Performance but that specific edition is no longer available as it was a limited edition. They currently have one that is similar (also limited edition) called the Nurburgring edition, I like the look of those too.
