Default HID to LED conversion success !

Hi all ! I installed D2S LED bulbs from Sinoparcel in a 6000k color, compatible with the OEM 35W HID ballasts, and it works awesome ! I also switched the halogen high beams to H7 LED bulbs from Lasfit also in 6000k color and they match the low beams perfectly ! Cheap way to greatly improve the lighting performance and the look as well, I highly recommend !

There you go : first 2 pics are in my driveway (on an incline though), low beams and high beams ; then on the road, low beams and high beams too.

Looks pretty good to me !

No defined cutoff and light going everywhere. LEDs don't belong in those housings.

I don’t mean to argue for no reason, I’m not a lighting expert either, but in the first and third pictures on low beams the cutoff is pretty damn clear to me ! The second and fourth pictures on high beams, of course there’s light everywhere, that’s what high beams are for. What am I missing ?
Looks like a pretty clear cutoff to me, no ? Fully lit below, fully dark above…

It's difficult to see a defined cutoff line in your pictures. Can you take some shots of them lighting up a flat wall? That would show the output better.

See how you can physically see the line on the road, this is what I'm talking about. You can barely tell the difference between high and low on yours.

I have not been out when it's dark lately, but yesterday I compared the 350Z to my wife's Ionic 5 and both light out the road pretty much the same. I get what you're saying with the "line on the road" but that would be an aiming issue in my opinion, as I find yours to be pretty low for decent coverage.

It should have sharp cut-off so you dont blind oncoming drivers... you probably need to find a wall and look at alignment/adjustment of them

mine are aimed to OEM specs, you aren't supposed to have low beams that high, it'll blind incoming traffic.

the led will have much higher dazzle ( optical brilliance when looking at it oncomming, in traffic) than the HID, and unfortuantely when ther e is no sharp cut off from a projector housing etc.. they give you less light on the road compared to higher quality hid bulbs.... and give traffic about 50% more blindness.

Bad idea, unfortunately. I wont call myself a lighting expert, but pretty dmn close to one. just chalk this one up to learning proces, is what it is.
The best option for these cars is an oem 06 headlight w the philips bixenon project inside it, stock balasts, and a very high quality oem style bulb (osram, philips etc)
