I agree, there is a lot of money put in this car and it is VERY unique, and to me it looks awesome. People, there is a reason there are so many brands of cars. Thackattck keep it up, it's a great car...

 

Thackattck, I agree with the last couple of posts. You've done an excellent job of setting your car apart from others. Its obvious the amount of money you have put into your ride. Others may have gone for engine mods instead (and that's fine too). The difference is no matter what kind of dough they drop into the engine it will never ever be the fastest car on the street. Your money on the other hand has gone into eye candy that will stand up to any exotic on the street today.

 

always the same haters saying the same things on this site. i wonder what pleasure some people get by trashing other people's possesions. whether they admit it or not i'd have to guess it's probably due to jealousy since they seem to go out of their way to make their negative opinions known. either that or they have nothing better to do (i.e no life).

anyway it's an amazing show car you've built and anyone that says otherwise in this thread doesn't understand what it is to be a true car enthusiast. the lemming haters with stock z's need to eat a STFU sandwich with extra STFU on the side.

book for my own car, but guess what, its not my car. your Z is
one of the most radical and awesome Z's in the states, so enjoy

Thanks for all the compliments. I know this car isn't everyone's taste. But it's a dream car for me, and that's all that matters. Those people that think I have no enthusiasm for the Z have no idea how much I love this car, and how much time and money I've invested in it.

Yea, that's me. I'm on Ulmerton everyday. If you want to see the car, come up to XS Customs (formerly CarXS). The shop is on Starkey Rd., between Ulmerton and East Bay. It's a blue and white building on the east side of the road, just North of the big Anvil paint building. I'm usually there everyday, for a couple of hours after work.

 

Thackattk puts my car to shame, I saw it in HIN Orlando, it's so incredibly nice, and I definately want those Cobras now.

 

Alright, Mr. Know-It-All. Havent you ever heard of the phrase "assuming makes an *** out of you and me?" You know nothing about me, you know nothing about my car except for the fact that its white and you assume that I sit and read magazines and look at Zs on the internet all the time. This is the first Z car Ive looked at on the forum besides whats posted for tech info. You also dont know how much money I make and what I do for a living so you cant prove that I dont have the money to fix my car. Im sorry I dont like to brag and post my car for the safety of it. Jealousy means you want something that you like and cant have or that you envy something. We all know I dont like his car so how am I jealous? I wouldnt do that **** to my car if I were the richest person alive.

Mikes color isnt orange or blue so it cant be compared to. Yellow to me is ugly. Period. It being another car color's color makes it worse. Therefore Ill bash on his other than whoever has blue or orange. People bash left and right whether it be on the internet or in person about anything and everything. Im just another ******* to add to it. Get used to it.

It has NOTHING to do with money, infact if you look at my sig and add everything up it comes to over $6,000 in after market parts ON TOP OF A $35,000 car already, if you were talking to someone with cheap *** wheels and a base model maybe your thoughts there could be justified, I think you'd know that if I wanted more body work on my car, it would be on the way. Do people that don't put wings on an M3 or a 911 just NOT do so because of $$$ or do you think it has more to do with personal preference?? If I were going all show, I think that you can look at my sig and realize that I could have a large wing if that is what I wanted.

just because I don't chose to put the same things on my car does NOT mean I am jealous, can't people have a personal opinion. I wasn't ripping the car, I said it was a cool show car, but I wouldn't trade mine for it. I bet there are people that have a stock base Z with a few very unique mods that don't cost very much that they wouldn't trade for my ride, no biggy that is why we personalize them. If I wanted to make my car a show car, I could (already have a sponser actually), but I want it to be "MY CAR" and with that means that I want it the way I want it and NOT the way that gets the most attention.

as far as ripping on my thread I started, feel free, just disclose what you'd change so I know your style and preferences, and I will know that we just have a different taste, no biggy, I respect that.

I think this whole thread is facinating. I guess every time someone posts something everyone else is supposed to agree??? If that is hte case, we would ALL have the exact same cars (how boring). In fact I like what people have to say and they bring things to like that I have never thought of and I see in a different lite and change my car a bit to fine tune its looks (taking off the chrome grill and rear splash guards is a perfect example, did I ***** about it and say people are being mean?? NOPE, I just took it as constructive critisism).

I don't even think the owner of the car is taking this the same way that you guys are. Some have said "haters will be haters" what does that mean, to me that means that Haters hate everything but what they have. I call BS on that if you are referring to me, do a search under my name and I think you will find that I like a bunch of people's cars on this site.


Also the color thing is interesting, saying we are "jealous" because we have silver or white cars, is interesting, esp since nissan makes more "WILD" color that come stock and are NO extra charge, so don't you think that if we wanted a more wild color we would have BOUGHT IT???? Some people just like silver, some like white, and others like daytona (my favorite alternative 350z color).

As for this car, it should be interesting to note that I have one that is similar, only it is 1:18 scale

 

the whole money thing is pretty funny if you ask me. I run a set of $3,000 stereo (2 channel) speaker cables in my home audio system and now I am considered "cheap" or jealous because I can't afford certain mods on my car, interesting.
I guess if I don't put 3 wings on these cars they will be considered "jealous"??

looks to me like you have the right perpective. Its YOUR car, and if you did it just to make the nieghbors impressed you'd probably have an escalade with 24" rims anyways. Its YOUR dream car and thats what matters!! As for the enthusiasm part, I hope you aren't referring to me, looks to me like you have PLENTY of enthusiasm for the Z. I am sure you are like me that before you go to bed at night you take a peak in the garage just to take another look. Or you find yourself looking at your car anytime you get out to go into a store (btw, do you ever try to act like you aren't looking back at it when people catch you doing it, that is the worst )

Heres the assuming, again. Ive never posted a pic of my Z simply because I do not brag about it nor do I want it to be known. So how would you know whether it was already my dream Z or not? Ive already went over this so take your own advice. Learn to read better.
