Pics of new installed custom shift boot!!!!!
Just received my new custom shift boot from "350trackZ" also known as Mike Gronholz (really good guy!!).
He was very open to new ideas for shift boots and had a few of his own ideas--- they can pretty much do anything in any color that you want ... that was my impression
So -- I wanted a simple but unique black leather with N, S, E, W silver stitching-- something that wasn't too loud and matched the interior accents of the Z nicely (my custom Pinnacle Liquid CF Daytona Blue dash is MORE than loud enough!! gotta love it!) So the install was REALLY easy..
I dunno why you guys are struggling to take off the shift ****- it was exceptionally easy on my car, barely needed vice grips at all. Start to finish ( I really took my time and saved the orig. boot noted all of the install/remove process, etc.) == prob. ~1 hr. I conditioned the leather--- now I just gotta break it in with lotsa shifting!!
Hope you enjoy the pics!! Thanks, Mike!!!!!

its the SuiteEGraphX (PinnacleLiquid) custm silk screen CF dash painting. they use a technique to achieve the CF appearance. It does not look exactly like CF, but it is a TOP NOTCH job and it makes the inside of the Z look millions of times better IMO!!!!
Thanks

Not necessarily
I am very happy with all of the asthetic interior mods I have made. I think it gives my cabin a personal touch!
Thanks for looking!!
And CatastrophZZ: I really don't think anyone can do a custom CF dash like SuitEgraphX-- you really have to see their stuff, its amazing! I work with carbon fiber laminations every day (I make artificial limbs) and trust me--- I have thoroughly researched cost effort etc. to make custom CF dash panels -- not a lot of fun- the molds alone would be a nightmare!
Good luck!
