Default Should I remove stock antenna???

My car is in the shop right now having the rear quarter panel replaced due to some a**hole backing into me. Since they are going to be working on that area, anyone think I should have the little hole covered????? If I do this, I would need an alternative place to mount the antenna, hopefully with better reception. I'm open to suggestions at this point.

Oh man that was great....

Bat chimes in with a picture in what seemed like less than an hour. Nice job bat.

I say cover up the hole...it's a good oppurtunity because I'm sure plenty of people would pay some cash just to get rid of that antenna. Even if you can't think of a clever alternative mounting spot I'm sure a good one will come up soon.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of mines and the crappy window wiper.

I don't like that Jetta looking antenna......wanted to intall some sort of internal antenna and hop0efully get better reception.....I do have the XM option with my Pioneer Premier.....probably go that route

I went to the body shop today and they wanted $350 to cover the hole!!!!! Sacramento is SO expensive when it comes to even the smallest thing!! How much should one expect??? Keep in mind that they have a new Nissan bare fender which still has to be prepped and painted, so it's not like they have to re paint an area......they guy quoted me like 5 hours of labor just to cover that little hole..........anyone heard og Gamboa's in Sacramento..??

i think $350 is kinda too much.
the antenna does not bother me so i think the $350 could be spent on something else. but thats just me.
if the look of the antenna bothers you, then go for it. mind as well since your car will be in the shop anyways.
