Wanted to know if you guys that put on the nismo gas filler cap have any problems installing this? Mine would not go into the orginal gas cap...any advice..thanks in advance!

 

I was planning on buying it but if it doesn't fit it would be pointless, like the Nismo key. I'll have to check back and see what people are saying...

 

I have it on my car and had to dremel the edges of the stock gas cap and use epoxy to get it to work , it looks perfect..

 

Wow they should of stated that in the instructions....
Blownaway/So your telling methat you have to shave the edges and use epoxy to get it on?

nope, it is not for the Z our gas cap is larger. just a little dremel action and you are good to go. It is worth it...very pretty

 

Yea it does look pretty..When you attach the Nismo cap to the stock gas cap, does it pass the wire that is connected to the stock gas cap or does it just go on to the point right before it?Thanks!

CAUTION! - This cap does NOT fit well on the G35 / 350Z. It can be installed, it is not an easy install and requires EPOXY to stay on. We do not recomend this for 350Z / G35 owner unless they want to get their hands dirty.

 

Damn didnt get a chance to read that but its okay. Shouldn't be that hard of a job to put on a cap..Ill try to install it tom and tell you guys how it goes..lata
