cool cool.... im glad you got it to work out right. it looks great. THE ZIP TIES ARE THE KEY. Ive had mine on for almost a year now and it still looks great, no problems with peeling or the strips coming loose. theres a gash in one of them but thats just from road debri or something.

Dr. Bonz,
I had the zip ties securely tied around the edge of the door guards at the end. I actually wasted a few zip ties because initially it wasn't done to my liking. Some trial and error to get it to be inconspicuous as possible. Thanks guys for your tips!!

I used the truck door edge slide-on type, not the car ones. the car ones are too small and won't stay on well, or may not even fit. I think it's "Trim Brite" brand. I got mine at Pep Boys and its the only brand they carry.

I have the Pep Boys truck trim. Has anyone tried chroming the horizontal grille and then just the two outer vertical grille bars? What about just the vertical ones and then just the middle horizontal?

Can someone post a pic of where exactly the zip ties go?

Thanks,
JasZ

sorry i cant post the pic.. but the zip ties "tie" around the edges of the chrome strips. All the way at the very edge of the chrome strips that you can see on luvtopost's Z. Soo you need 6 of them. one for each side on the 3 bars. they secure the chrome edge guard to the original black plastic bar.
