I need to know what type of aftermarket HID will fit my stock headlights. I got a pair but are too short and donot fit properly.

I heard you have to cut out something from the stock bulb's ballast or something like that so they fit into the housing properly.

I had aftermarket HID's on my Corolla before my Z and I noticed my left bulb always "shook" kinda like engine vibration. This may or may not happen with JERRY-RIGGING or RETROFITTING some bulb for the Z this way. I am looking to do the same thing for my Z as well. Some guy wanted $200 for the pair of bulbs plus $100 for install. Peace all...

Actually because you're in NJ it was Zippos/Boomers Car Audio in Belleville, NJ. They have spots all over though- in East Brunswick, North Plainfield, Edison, etc...peace

what kit do you have?

Brighstars seem to be popular on the Z.
Helios are for sale right now @ Vendor Section
