Sweet Guages Cheston!

All this confusion with Bar and PSI. Why cant the States follow the rest of the Metric world? Our engines are measured by liters and the fuel that feeds it is measured in gallons... WTF?

Hey man check my new Two Gallon V6... lol.

Oh and some people have no respect regarding the pics that you post. File a complaint to Ebay before someone actually waste some money buying a car thats not even for sale.

Oh and the VSD Concept... does it have major issues when its day time? Since it will be kinda bright with all the sunlight?

I was just thinking about that. I know DEFI provides some kind of silver tint but if direct sunlight hits the windshield would you still see the VSD?

its got an auto dimming light sensor-

so it will adjust brightness automatically-

there is that sticker you put on the windsheild to get the leds to project onto- and there is a manual override on brightness control..

one more thing- the VSD will display measurements in US units..
(aka MPH, *F) so you dont have to worry being stuck in metric ..

*update, 5/3/04*

spent all day today installing and running the wires for the gauges-

the HUD is bad ***-, real time info is nice, although having it straight in the line of sight is cool, the brightness control is tricky.

the RPM off of #62 pin on the ecu DOES NOT WORK... i need to order the RPM adapter from greddy-

speed tap off of #26 on the A/C camp, uniform combination thingie works fine.... the speed sensor setting i believe is 8.

i just attached my boost gauge to the apillar with the supplied hardware, but my friend is building me a dual pod 60mm from molded ABS plastic.. should have a prototype within a week or so-

overall: im happy with the gauges.. running the wiring was a biatch. i attached my fuel pressure sensor to my fuel pressure regulator, it had an extra tap, and i then i ran my oil temp gauge from the drain pan- i will be looking to order the oil filter adapter later on-

picts tomorrow. im beat--
