Default Autotecknic cooling plate (US version)

i emailed autotecknic about creating a new cooling plate with a larger intake area. right now, their current version is a japan model so the intake area is smaller. the japan version does fit the us model and looks awesome but i think it could be improved by making the intake inlet area the same size as the intake tube.

i borrowed this pic from DJK so you can see what i mean

for those that are interested in a US model version cooling plate shoot brian an email....these are the best on the market right nowautotecknic email

here is the websiteautotecknic website if enough are interested maybe we can also get a group buy....thanks all.....out

I always wondered why it didn’t fit that area properly and now I know. I fabricated a piece to close off the gap but a properly sized plate would be nice.

I think you are referring to "350EVO" not "Evo-R".....we don't manufacture bushings........ (people get confuse all the time)

put me down for a US version....
By the way, some ppl have have been saying that these cooling plates make it difficult for you to manipulate the hood latch to open the hood and that the plates also make it difficult to close the hood...any truth to this???

look where the air intake inlet tube is (where the air comes into the airbox)....the japan model's intake tube is smaller, therefore the cooling plate does not completely cover the opening of the inlet tube on the us model. look at king tut's picture at the right hand side of the cooling plate and you will see what i mean. i hope i explained that correctly....if not, don't worry i haven't heard from them in some time so i don't see them making a us vesion yet
