in what way does it resemble a porsche light???

here is hte thing, the car is designed around a certain shape of headlight, and many of the contours around the lights are there to accent it. In other words, you don't just have a piece of smooth metal then a light dropped in, you have body work that is shaped the same shape as the light and there is a transition from the body to the light, which looks a certain way.

When you have a cover on the light, you keep the OLD contours designed for the original light shape with a totally different shape in the covered light. From a pure design standpoint it doesn't work. I know I will get killed for saying this but, Frankly, I am surprised that someone that would spend money on such nice HRE wheels (quality wheels that you would see on an M3, 911, etc.....) would put a pair of cheap light covers on (an item you commonly see on civics and cavaliers.
