Default 350Z with Sunroof

I was just browsing ebay and I came across this. A 350Z with sunroof. Prolly a custom job. What do you guys think?

well..
there are few members who installed sunroof to their z's here.
but i want something bigger.
like an auto-targa which u can see on a mercedes c-coupe or porche targa..
probably some big $$$$ but gonna try someday

That sunroof looks fantastic. My dealership mentioned that they could do it when I bought the car. Makes me a little nervous...but perhaps I'll give it a shot. You have the link for the company you used? It didn't work in the other thread.

I heard there's basically no effect on structural rigidity since the coupe is based on the convertable, thus no big beams in the roof...is that true?

Yes it is true. There's nothing to be worried about I've had it done twice on my 1st and 2nd Z and you get no resistance in my opinion even at very high speeds. Not even so much as a drop of water has got in and in Florida it RAINS to say the least. I personally had mine done both times through Classic Soft Trim http://www.classicsofttrim.com/ . Excellent work and the price is very affordable. If you would like I can take some pics of the inside and outside of the sunroof open and close later today when I get home.
