Default City lights

I hate the way the city lights look. I think it takes away from the xenon lights, when they are on. I was thinking about just taking these out completely.

Has anyone swapped these out? pics?

They are on the outside part of the light assembly. They turn on when you turn the light switch once, right before the headlights.

Talk to ares. He makes LED parking lights and they're a pretty good deal. I've had my set for a few months now and couldn't be happier. Install's pretty simple, too.

I just took mine off. You have to remove your tire and go through the wheel well. Looks a lot better. I've had mine off for over a year now. I definately agree that they make the HID's look yellow. Hope this helps!

I think you may be mistaking the "city lights" for Day Time Running Lights, DRLs. The lights that come on before the headlights come on are parking lights. Such as the ones limos and chauffeured?sp? cars leave on at night while they double park. Its mainly a way for oncoming traffic to notice there is a car on the side of the road without keeping your headlights on for an extended period of time. These are common use in europe, but most of the european cars (porsche, MB, etc) you can select either the left or right side to be illuminated instead of both sides like on japanese cars. Sorry for the long post. I hope i clarified any confusion if there was one? if not.... than im so confused myself... haha

But yea, i swithced mine to PIAA than to LED bulbs.
