Default Question.... got my v1 lip painted

Alright well I stopped by the body shop today. They guy is extremely excited everytime he sees me. He loves the lip etc, and he seems to want the best for me. Great customer service etc. Well, I went int he back of his shop and checked the lip out and he told me straight up, theres 2 places where there was a little spec of dirt when I painted it. He shows me the two spots and they look like very minor rock chips almost. He tells me if i would like he can sand them down and repaint that area and it would be no problem. He hands me the lip and says lets go see how it looks on the car. We go out and put the thing up to the car and it looks great. Obviously black cars are always dirty and this lip was completely 100% clean but other than that it looked great. There was a little bit of what i would describe as "bubbles" at the top right above the name veilside. I asked him about it and he said well its not completely done drying, "that wont get anything but better." So I asked him what he wanted to do, he told me to come in tomarrow after the thing is completely dry and tell him if its fine like that or if i want him to redo some sections. My question to you guys is... If this was your lip, would you have him sand and repaint the two minor imperfections. He kept stressing that it is on the bottom FRONT of the car and that, just like my bumper its gonna get nicks and chips in it within a few months anyway, and he is right. I just am not sure if I want to be a perfectionist this time or if I am happy with it the way it is and ill just pay for it and go home happy. What would you guys do?

Well, the rock chips will be WAY less than you think ... the paint the body shop uses is WAY stronger and more flexible than Nissans.... I am at about 4000 miles after a bumper repaint and 0 rock chips ... same on my V1 lip until a retread hit it ... it stood no chance.

it all depends on how much you paid for the paint job. If you paid over $150 for the paint job, then yes, have him sand it down and repaint it.

If you paid under $100, then I say take it as is, and enjoy it.

You will know the imperfections are there and they will always bug you. If you can live with that then your decision should be easy.

Get it re-painted...you paid for quality work, you car deserves it.

V1 lip will look really good on a SB, check out the gallery for pics.
Less shadow line on darker colors.
