Default Site with D2S HID bulbs?

Hey guys, looking to buy actual projector bulbs for my HIDs, but the site I was refered by TXSTYLE, hids4less.com, isn't a valid site anymore I guess. Anyone know where I can pick bulbs up for our car?

Projector bulbs? I Thought our car takes D2R bulbs? Why are you going to use D2S ?? Is there something I'm missing?

Yup, by using D2S bulbs, it will be a true projector style light color. I find out HIDs to be a little bit, lackluster I would say. A few people have switched to D2S bulbs to get a more S2000/Audi look to them. I'll try em out see how it works.

www.suvlights.com has some stuff, but their site said HID kits are no longer allowed in the US. I think they still sell the parts though.

BoostTed, those HIDs have to look crazy in person! 50W is a lot for an HID kit, but I wish I knew about this site before purchasing the regular 35W ballasts.

the color is the same between D2R and D2S. they have the same construction except for a small shield on the D2R. if you switch to the D2S who knows what will happen to the beam pattern.

My understanding is the shielding keeps the light reflecting on itself. All HIDs stock are 4700k (Around that but I know they are all meant to be the same.) However, different makes bulbs throw off totally different light. It all hasto do with the light reflecting on itself, difusing etc etc. I know a few people on here have switched to D2S, sadly I can't remember exactly who and I can't recall if they had to change anything about the fitmit of the bulb.

I've heard of the person on this forum using D2S. They had to use a dremel to make it fit. The reason why the BMWs and S2000s look blue is because of the optics and shape of the projector housing.

When you look at my HIDs at a certain angle, they look blue.
