Default Heater Core Problem

Not sure if this is in the right area or not.

Here is my dilemma:

A Car Stereo shop punctured my interior heater core line while installing an alarm a few months ago. I just found out today they were punctured. Apparently they drilled two screws through the lines.

My car cannot be driven until the lines are replaced. I am just trying to figure how long this will take.

Anyway, can you just replace the lines or do you have to replace the entire unit. The heater core itself was not damaged, just the rubber lines.

I will be calling the delaer first thing in the morning. The stereo shop is footing the entire bill, as they should.

Here is my thread if you care to read, https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=80966

Default STILL NOT FIXED< GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I spent all day at the stereo shop today as they supposedly fixed my heater core line.

I leave at 7 p.m. and the MF's didn't fix it, they didn't patch the hole where the screw came out of, they only patched the hole where the screw entered, WELL DUH!. So more frickin ant-freeze drains in my car. So I had to turn around and leave it overnight< AGAIN.

After inspecting the car today, I noticed, the stereo shop scratched my door jam with 4 deep scratches, The installer broke one of my digital guages, he said he glued it back, and there is about a 1/2 gallon of antifreeze in my floorboard that has soaked through the carpet.

And last but not least, the IDIOTS broke my vent that is down by the accelerator.

And my passenger seat is stained in TWO places.

Then too top it, as I am speaking to the manager standing by my car venting my frustration, a young installer comes by and puts his greasy hands all over my car. I am like, hey man, do you mind?

I am so fricking pissed it is not even funny.

BUT, the dealer did say they would hardwire my Valentne 1 for free, WTF

The manager said he would fix everything and even replace the broken vent. WOOPTY Frickin Doo,

Hey Manager, if your listening, how about fix my CAR, the right way, and wire the Navigation the correct way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I am leaving to go look at my car. I and the stereo shop signed a letter stating if what they fixed will not hold up or causes damage, they will fix everything.

They are also paying me to go to the dealer and have the lines pressure tested.

I will let you know.

I got my Valentine 1 in today, I wonder if I should let them hard wire it, since they said they would do it for free.

I am not sure after what they ahve done to my car.

Well they supposedly fixed the heater core line today. I drive homw (8 miles away) and when I get home, my temprature guage is right before the H Mark. The damn cooling fan was on the whole time.

So I wonder what the hell the problem is now?

BTW, I am taking the car in tomorrow and let them look at it.

The name of the shop is called Drive In Auto Sound.

When I drive the car, it is on "H" meaning
OVERHEATING. The cooling fan constantly stays on now. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow. The installer said the radiator must have a bubble, thus its not moving through the cooling line. I think they patched it so much the injected the crap into the hose thus blocking it!

Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow and let you all know the outcome.
