i have an idea. it should be cut to the right diameter and circumfrence, and just be stick on. and it would have two power wires that goes through a small grommet in the steering column!

 

thatd look kinda cheezy... JMO I never really liked them at all. but at very least they need to be somewhat flush, not raised on double face tape.

 

that JDM baby.Ofcoure its flushed fitted you can even programmed it to light up when you open the door and will closed after 10 sec.Which nissan has this option?maybe it has the same diameter.

As for how cheezy it looks...not sure. It has a practical use, that being that it helps to find the ignition in a dark spot without having to turn on the light. A lot of expensive cars have it, its a nice touch.

LOL i just asked my friend and she said her 02 Civic Coupe has one hehe.

 

02-03 maxima's have em...not sure about the rest.

 

My '92 Stealth has the illuminated ring around the ignition switch. It really isn't a big deal.

This topic came up on 350zfrenzy, and everyone over there said it would be too hard to do and not worth it.because of the time it takes. I think a japanese company made one but i'm not sure, I think they had a whole instruction sheet on the internet, it was really a pain to do it, in other words, the outcome isn't worth the time.
