Default Side Emblems

Has anyone shaved their side emblems? If so, could someone post pics?

Thanks.

Come on you guys. No one has taken off their side emblems? What about the guys that changed them to the lighted Z-4 type emblems? No pics of them while they are removed?

the fender is recessed and has two holes, so Im not sure if anybody has just taken the emblems off, you'd have to fill the indention in, which IMO is more trouble than its worth. I like the side emblems, especially with my z4 leds

Thanks for the response. The reason I was asking is I found Chrome Side Emblems through an European website and was curious as to the work changing them out. I didn't want to remove the emblems just to see how they were mounted. They are similar to the Z4 lighted emblems people are adding to their Z here.

At least two owners here have done it, but that's because they did massive body work like widebody kit and lambo doors.

I'd like to get my side emblems shaved as well because the Z32 didn't have it, and I like it that way. I'll get this worked on someday since it's low priority.

mc350z, That looks good, but not what I am looking for. The one I posted is chromed and lighted. Taking off the paint would only change the appearance.

Here is the link to the site where I found the emblems. They have some pretty unique products I've never seem here (carbon fiber side emblem fillers).

Holy crap thats some sweet stuff...if I could only convert the currency...I wonder about shipping too..

i have the z4 rings over here, and I like them, but I really like those chrome ones. the light ring is smaller and is a lot cleaner look. I wonder if its LED and what colors? I also want that other guy on this forum to do the 3 led dots on the emblem. He sells the eblems already done but I wonder if I can send him these to do?

I see, you has found our new Z4 style side indicators.

Please note, we have 2 different webshops.
the first one with tax (european customers) and the second one (w/o tax) for all other customers.

To choose the right one, use these link: www.ctd-germany.com

These lights are not LED indicators. We deliver them with a amber bulb. But u can change them by yourself in red, blue, green or what ever you want. It´s a bulb which you can find in all bopdyshops.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Those Z3 fenders are nice! I'd rather get that than to fill the emblem space and repaint.

Don't forget these babies! This is what I'm saving up for next, no matter what the cost.
