Hey Rayden2001, how was the fitment of the Octane Motrosports fenders? I am awaiting an install on my Veilside V3 body kit and was comtemplating those fenders with it. How do you think it would look together??

Very bad. My bodyshop wanted to kill me for dropping them off and running . They said thats ok, and hit me with the bill . But they made them look perfect. So yeah the fitments sucks but as you can see they can look awesome, thats once you get them in the right hands of a good bodyshop.
Moroccan_Mole has them too and he would tell you the same, but his too came out awesome.
Oh, and they weigh half of the stock fenders.

 

yep. they're HORRIBLE quality. my friend hooked it up made em look awesome for nothing. i love having friends that are car painters ... but after he saw them, he yelled at me for a while saying how crappy they were

unless you have a body shop sponsoring you or have alot of $$$ to drop on these, i would recommend to stay away from them. they might only cost you $400 bux but it will probably cost you 3x that much to get them fitting correctly and painted correctly.

i'm considering making my own mold and making them out of better materials, gel coating and honeycomb reinforcing, maybe cf, maybe making it a little wider ... and trying to resell them as a superior product.

 

Hey rayden, 1 more question. I saw an orange Lambo Murceliago a few weeks ago and I love the orange color. I also love the color on your car. Do you have some other pix of your car? If you do, could you email some to me @ slpknt73@bellsouth.net ? Oh yeah, if you dont mind my asking, what did it cost for the paint job?? PM me if you dont want to tell everyone. Thanks

My hood......

 

mmmmm just came in today

 

I could send you some pics but I got slammed with a nasty virus, so it will be a couple of days before I can send you some pics. But, you've seen the color in person and saw how awesome it looks, but all the pics I took of my car doesn't show the true color of the car for some reason . This color is crazy, all it takes is just a little change in lighting and the color changes to a totaly different color. When its really bright out it looks almost like a yellowish-orange color, and when its in darker light it looks like a really redish-orange color.

Is that Seibon VS hood the same one that didnt fit right, and the latch had to be moved? i was considering it, but now with the fitment issues, i dont know?
