either that or the Kaminari hood.

I've never understood the carbon fiber hood concept. To me, except in rare circumstances, CF just looks..unfinished. A black CF hood on a car that is any color but black looks kinda like an unpainted urethane body kit on a Honda Civic.
That's just me. I think the styling of some of the aftermarket hoods is really awesome (especially the Veilside V3), but I just can't get into CF.
Sorry Cat, I don't have a picture to post, just thought I'd voice my opinion.

it looks good from far away, but the fitment isn't great. right now everything on the front of my car isn't fitting great. i had everything removed and repainted (and the bumper and fender fixed after it was hit), but when we put it all back together it was in a hurry without, and we didn't take out time to align everything correctly. whenever i get time, ill redo it all, and hopefully that will fix some of the gaps with the hood.
the hood closes fine, but i had to raise the hood latch (real easy, just loosen 3 bolts and move it up) and remove my radiator air guide in order to close it with the stock hood latch.
i'll get hood pins before i take it back to a road course ... just for safety, but for everyday driving the stock latch is fine.

hey Rayden do you have any pic at hood level looking head on? just wondering, the hood looks awesome, have you sold it yet, since you are getting a new one!?
Kcobean, it's okay about no hood pics! don't let it happen again! I have to agree with you on some degree that it looks unfinished or civic style (since they never paint what they add on) but the pics make it look good, I have yet to see it actually in person... ( the CF hood/paint combo)
I have only seen one hood in person, yet from a distance. It was the kaminari hood and I was driving to Oklahoma and he was coming back the other way, so I only got a glance but boy did it catch my eye!!
for anyone who knows supras. I used to own one and had an AB Flug hood on it. I loved the style of it, i wonder what it would look like on the Z... of course it would have to be custom!
