maybe not..I'll be doing it myself. Most of the surfaces in the housing are flat( the parts around the main reflective hole that people paint black) or slightly curved, making a carbon fiber cover like the door barrells is simple. You can get real carbon fiber sheets that are fairly thin (about two sheets of paper thick) which are pretty easy to work with, these are already cured with epoxy resin so you dont have to be too careful about the fibers messing up either. Or you can get raw Carbon fiber fabric and mold it yourself and cure it and whatnot to make more complex shapes, but you have to worry about the fibers bunching and spreadin gin the bends so you have to be much more careful. ( The things a childhood hobby like model airplanes can teach you!) But the housings arent too hard at all...just time consuming with the baking the housings to get them open and all.

not a bad idea but i also wonder how the bulbs will be as far as brightness goes and reflecting off of the CF...im more of a fan of the eyelids cause they are more simpler and still look good

No the parts that the bulbs reflect off of will still be chrome, just like in the black housings, only the flat parts around the edge(like the covers) will be CF, but it will be the actual housings instead of a stick on eyelid. A much cleaner look.
