Rear strut.....
if you watch the best motoring movie with the Z on the cover they take off the plastic cover and show you whats under it... its part of the unibody! its a cool video maybe you should go pick it up

I took a hacksaw to my rear strut frame, which improved ride quality drastically. It seemed to reduce my effective spring rate, so don't get the bounce anymore. My roof buckles a bit on bumps, but that's all, nothing I can't live with...

I mean, not just he "Z" piece, but the whole thing. Painted instead of carbon fiber like the one attached above.
