Default What adhesive to use for emblems?

Just curious... I'm planning on doing the "z33" badging, so I bought a new 350z emblem... but I want to use the "3" from my stock one... what kind of adhesive should i buy? will standard "exterior double sided tape" by 3m (saw it at home depot) work? or is that too harse on the clearcost?

That's what I have used. It's a little tedious to cut to shape but it holds really well. Mine haven't come off (unless I get a towel stuck under the emblem!, this has happened with the "Z" of my 350Z emblem several times

awesome... thanks for the tip doc

so is the idea to fill the inside (hollow part) of the emblems? because the double sided tape is a bit thick, so I imagine I wouldn't want to put the tape on the edges or else the emblem would stick up too high right?

the 3m tape is semi-compressable. helped my friend put it on his z and the emblems sit flush... but dont get it too close to the edges though.

Exactly, it squashes down so it is pretty flush. You have to trim it close or else you can see it from the sides though.
