Question Question on Stillen 2 nose (or similar)

I am considering the Stillen 2 fascia. I was wondering.

Do you NEED to use a grille of some sort?

All the pics show an empty hole in front of the radiator. Of course it says "Stillen" on the radiator.

Is this ok with stock radiator and if I don't need a grille insert should I have one?

Stillen's website mentions :

Other optional features include: Speed grilles made specifically for the center and lower vents, brake cooling ducts and hose designed to fit perfectly in the left and right lower vents and our new splitter, adding an even more aggressive look to your 350Z. IMAGES SHOWS OPTIONAL SPLITTER INSTALLED. THE SPLITTER IS NOT INCLUDED WHEN ORDERING THIS PART #. A tip - if you're considering the brake ducts, you'll save 3-4 hours of labor if you do it all at once rather than having to remove/reinstall the fascia later!

Anyone seen the "speed grilles" ?

What do you think of the Front lip splitter?

That's not a Radiator, Its an Intercooler. You do not HAVE to put a grille on it, But i think the one For the G35 from Stillen will fit it, and its the same style as the other stillen grilles. I have seen this kit in person and I do not like the Spliter, but if you have aftermarket sideskirts it oul help the over all look of the car.

everything looks ok, except for that splitter.
i read your other thread, and if you end up getting this stillen bumper, i hope that you are also getting some aftermarket side skirts too.

i really don't like the look of the stillen bumper, i think im like the only one, haha.

i don't like how the bottom middle section is higher than the sides, the sidemarkers pushed all the way out to the ends, and the way the entire thing just slopes forward ... it sorta reminds me of a catfish.

I knew there was something weird bout the side reflectors but just never really realized it till you mentioned that... the stock position, keeps the whole fender flare in one shape (and lines up w/ the headlites), but where it is on that stillen bumper cuts into the fender flare.

This design feature exactly mimics the JGTC series 350Z front ends. The raised center lip on the racer is intended to induct air underneath the car where it is used to aid ground effects thru the use of an underbody venturi.

I like it!!!!! The splitter sux though - and the JGTC cars do not have that either!
