Who has the Nismo wing bought from Nissan, and do the outside edges physically come down and touch your rear deck? I was under the impression from all the photos I've seen that it rests right on the deck or is a mm away. Well my wing sits up an inch or two. There is enough clearance for me to easily slide my hand between the wing and the car.

I'll get a pick up a soon as I can.

I watched the shop guy tape on the template and punch the starters, and it looks like the base is exactly where its designed to be.

you have the US spec nismo wing; there are some threads showing the differences between the jdm and us spec nismo body kits; i know that the us wing sits a little lower and yes the tips are further away from the body, i guess to prevent scraping?

 

That's right... the middle part is lower than the jdm wing, and the tips don't touch. I think the jdm version looks much more aggressive in comparison.
