Question Question?how Do You Remove The From Stock Grill?

I am planning on taking off the front stock grill off. i have plans to put a turbo/w IC. i want to have the IC clearly visable. how do you remove that black stock grill off? do u cut it off? or can you snap it off some how. if there is any out there with some info please help. thanks!

you need to cut it out.
i used a hacksaw and dremel.

mannn i that is what i was afraid of. is it pretty easy to do?? if i do it i just want to make sure i don't make it look crappy. do you have any tips? hey thanks for your response.

yeah, it was fairly simple.
i suggest you wear some protective eyewear, as little black plastic shavings go everywhere.

I cut mine out in about 2 minutes with a sharp utility knife and there was no mess to clean up and no ragged cut line.

thanks for the response, another quick question. where did you start ur cut? i have not taken a really good look of it up close, but i plan on doing it sometime this weekend. i just wanted to get a real good idea first b4 i start. thanks again

by chance where did you start ur cut? i plan on doing it really soon and i want to bling out my intercooler. thanks again for your response.

In the middle of the top of the grill IIRC. Once you get the knife through the plastic and start cutting you should be able to feel a path around the grill where the knife encounters much less resistance. I am assuming that the plastic this thinner there. Just follow that around the grill and it will be out in no time.
