Question For some reason I “subscribe” to...

every thread that I read.

1. How do I end the “subscription” thing?
2. If I work to delete my “subscriptions,” it will take me a week. Can one of you admin guys kill all these threads? Thanks.

It's every time you reply to a thread, not every time you read one (if that is selected in your settings).

To get rid of your subs, click on the checkbox next to the word Notifications (the checkbox above all of your subscribed thread checkboxes), then scroll all the way down to where it says Selected Threads.

Choose Delete Subscription from the dropdown box, and then press Go. That's the best way to do it (per page of subs).

To turn this feature off, go to the Edit Options section and go to the Default Thread Subscription Mode area. Choose Do Not Subscribe from the dropdown list. Scroll all the way down and then press the button that reads Save Changes.

Here is where it is set (though I can't help you with threads you've already subscribed to)...

Thanks for your help. I am now “unsubscribed.” Dang, looks like it will take me awhile to delete all those pages.
